I
she always dreamed
to find eternal love.
she promised ancient gods
to sacrifice them what they ask
chorus:
you are the one
who makes me laugh forever
you are the one
who makes me happy forever
I am the one
who will be close forever
I am the one
who will not let you die
II

he said that pain will never end

While this album might not be anything particularly mind-blowing, it's still a good example of how DSBM should be done. I have a soft spot for this album as its seductive gloominess helped me through a certain rough patch in my life, and I believe it to be somewhat of a hidden gem. Rest in peace, Reverend John Hex. An album that touches every cell in you with heavy emotions. Howlings of pain get through the bones, the reminders of forgotten, darkened times. It's a disturbing listening, yet paradoxically, so enjoyable. I would want more of it! Umbra Cornuta
